Although green flat topped feather edge panels are ordinarily available from stock, our brown flat topped feather edge panels, are only made to order.
These panels are one of our strongest panels, and are constructed from the same materials as the close Board fence. As with all of our fencing panels this panel is Pressure Treated.

Strength

Our panels are constructed of heavy duty 50x32mm frame work, and they are fully framed. This means that they have a frame going all the way round the outside. A lot of manufacturers do not fully frame the panel , which can cause them to be quite flimsy. We also add extra support battens across the middle of the panels for 1.2m panels and above. All of our panels come with a weathered capping that completes the modern look, and also creates a natural way for water to run off the top of the panel, increasing the life span of the panel.

We also offer these panels in a brown treatment, if preferred. We can also manufacture the panels to any size that is required.

Treatment

Each component is treated and tanalised before the panels are manufactured, using high pressure treatment, to ensure the treatment penetrates deeper into the timber.

We recommend that you treat your panel again after the first 12 months, using a suitable microporous treatment for treated/tanalised timber. But you do not have to treat it as it has been tanalised. We only recommend this as the more you look after your fence, the longer it will last. It is not recommended to treat your fence more then once a year though.
