Description

WISA-Hexa is a slip-resistant and decorative coated plywood panel for flooring in transport and building applications.

Sometimes referred to as "Rhino board", "Buffalo board", "Mesh board", or "Phenolic board".

Phenolic plywood is a heavy-duty sheet material primarily used for applications requiring a durable, water-resistant, and anti-slip surface. It features a slip-resistant, patterned surface (hexagon) on one side and a smooth film on the other.

Key applications include:

  • Transportation Flooring: It is heavily used in trucks, trailers, van floors, and containers to prevent cargo from sliding.
  • Access & Walkways: It is ideal for pedestrian bridges, scaffolding platforms, stages, and ramps.
  • Agricultural & Industrial: Commonly used for animal sheds (pig/sheep pens), factory floors, and warehouse racking.
  • Outdoor Structures: Due to its moisture resistance, it is used for playground equipment, sports venues, and boat decks.
  • Flight Cases: Frequently used in the manufacturing of cases for transporting equipment.

The board is manufactured with a birch core and is known for its ability to withstand extreme weather, heavy traffic, and chemicals.
