Wainscot Panel Cover/Cap - UNTREATED Pine Moulding

A wainscot "cover" or "cap" is a decorative dado molding, which has a pre-cut rebate (as shown in the images) of 9mm x 28mm, which is made to fit onto the top edge of the wainscot (lower wall paneling).

This moulding can act as a "chair rail" or "dado rail", providing a more finished, decorative, and refined look to the panelling. 

The cap/cover helps to conceal the joint between the top rail (of the wainscot panelling) and the wall surface, and also helps to protect the wainscot panels.
