Slotted concrete posts:
Probably the most recognised and common components in "Waney Lap", "Feather Edge", or "Decorative" timber panel fencing. Offering strength and obvious durability, once in place, concrete posts need very little, if any, further maintenance or attention.
Constructed with concrete and internal steel reinforcing bars (typically 4 rods), a flat bottom, and a pyramid-shaped top (to help shed rainwater).
Intermediate or "H" Posts (slotted on two opposite sides of the post), End Posts (slotted on one side, for ending a run), Corner Posts (slotted on adjacent sides, for 90 degree change of direction), can be used with plain- or rock-face gravel boards to create fence heights from 2' (0.6m) to 7' (2.1m) (including bases).
CONCRETE DELIVERIES:
FOR HEALTH & SAFETY REASONS, TWO ABLE-BODIED PERSONS ARE REQUIRED TO UNLOAD CONCRETE POSTS AND PANELS.
IF NO-ONE WILL BE AT THE DELIVERY ADDRESS TO HELP UNLOAD THE CONCRETE, WE WILL NEED TO SEND A SECOND PERSON, AT AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE TO THE CUSTOMER OF £30 PLUS VAT.
IF A SECOND PERSON HAS NOT BEEN PAID FOR, AND NO-ONE IS AVAILABLE TO ASSIST, GOODS WILL BE RETURNED TO DEPOT.
